[Music] [Music] he [Music] hey guys Jeff cavaliere from aex. com we’re standing here in the kitchen and I know the shirt is off and we’re not in the gym and it probably looks a little strange but trust me this is not the way I walk around the kitchen or cook or anything like that why I’m here and why I’m about ready to show you a workout in here is because I want to overcome any of those challenges any of those objections out there that sometimes come in every now and then from guys that will look at some of my workouts and say I can’t do that he’s got all this equipment and I don’t have that matter of fact on my chest workout my guys would say he’s got all this access to this equipment and understand that’s what I do for a living but I don’t utilize a lot of equipment in that video other than a dip bar and a band but still I want to prove to you that even in my own kitchen I can get a workout with just a little bit of creativity using the aex principes so first thing I want to show you those D the guys don’t have that dip stand no problem if you’ve got a kitchen counter of any sort with even a little bit of an angle all you got to do is position yourself here we can work triceps and chest just based upon the way that we angle our body you want to do triceps you go straight up so straight up here let yourself go straight down come up almost you know kind of pushing up and back okay slow under control when we want to go chest we just lean a little bit more forward here feet away in the corner okay we can go right into the back now look guys there’s not much room in this kitchen here they really is there about the size of this countertop but I’m going to just walk around and show you that right here I can work my back just with a with a towel that’s all I have for this this workout is a kitchen towel put it down now what I want to do is get my arms way out to about here cuz now I’ve already started to you know Engage The lats from here and then go straight out and then pull hard on the way back up come straight out pull hard on the way back up what I’m essentially doing definitely work in my core too but I’m pulling with the arms and not so much with the core when I’m doing is almost a version of a straight arm push down if I had you know in the gin I can go right into my legs and I have socks on so I just really need just the slipperiness of the of the wood but we’ll go right into hamstrings so you get up into a bridge right from here High Bridge glutes are going low back okay let the hamstrings come straight out straighten your legs out stamp on your heels keep your butt up and curl it straight back real hard exercise as long as you making sure you keep your butt as high as you can and you’re not letting it fall down every every rep like that okay just keeping yourself up straighten the legs out then pull them back up we can come straight up into um a reverse lunge Now using this again the towel or just socks but position yourself here come straight down just let your foot slide back and you pull it back up Let the foot slide back come back up you can kind of come down and hold it rotate and come back up whatever variation you want to do but you start you know focusing on the quads now and still the glutes but right there you go equal number of reps on both sides now you may not have this last one here but we do want to work the biceps I happen to have a little bit of an extra overhang here on this kitchen counter you you can get creative don’t hold an oven door you’re going to whack yourself in the head but something like this if you have access to it position yourself underneath grab the top of the counter come up here get your butt up and do little mini curls I mean this is a solid exercise good workout and remember we’re making the most of nothing because we don’t have anything but our own kitchen lastly hit the ABS get that towel back out there again put your feet on it get into a plank position here and do your knee tucks or or skier tucks like that or you can do the big circles in both directions guys cool thing about this workout you can actually help your wife clean the floor while you’re doing the exercise so I think everybody wins but look but honestly the point is is that with the athenex system it comes with two versions it comes with a complete gym version that you’d go to your local health club and work out it comes with a stripped version that you can do at home with very little to no equipment and all it takes a little bit ingenuity and a lot
